The death god chuckled. Something tells him he’ll get in trouble anyway even if he remove the limiter. He wouldn’t have minded letting the boy free in the past but now it’s different. Koro smiled.
❝ Hmm, alright then, prepare yours– ❞
Tap.
Like a blade aiming for his neck, a finger suddenly tapped the limiter. It didn’t take half a second for the strands of his cells intrude into the device, opening its circuit. The static from it was expected, but it was a strong shock nonetheless. It took a second to closed back the flow as soon as he felt it, activating the limiter again. Hopefully that’d work, and it doesn’t…
↳ ❂ ↰ Ah, so he actually managed it–the shock to his system proved that. He hadn’t felt the full force of his ability in years, so the second in which the limiter was deactivated wasn’t enough time for him to process and use it at all. Fortunate for everyone but him, really. As much as he didn’t intend to hurt anyone, well, things didn’t always go according to plan.
Once he regained his senses, he pulled his hand back and stepped away. He figured it’d be fine if the man only touched the limiter, but even with just the proximity, Kaeto’s nerves had begun acting up.
“Okay,” came his only response to the situation. He sounded more dazed than displeased; the shock of his power hadn’t worn off yet.
