“Hm, me? Well, you could say that I have a very specific set of skills~!” He takes a moment to laugh at his bastardized reference. “I do have abilities, like this!” He takes a small bottle of water from his other jacket pocket then, opened it, and with a wave of a finger a long thin stream of water came flowing out, circling around his arm. “Pretty neat, right?”
↳ ♫ ↰ Come to think of it, she’d never tried to teleport liquids, had she? It may be useful to know whether or not she could. Common etiquette likely dictated that she didn’t, but Kotone stepped forward and reached up a finger to poke the water–and it disappeared. A moment later, it rained down in the gap between them, and she shook off her hand that got wet. Experiment complete.
“Oh, sorry about that!” He took the needles from his pocket and handed them over, still smiling. “Force of habit, I guess. But anyway, back to my question,” he said, rocking back on his heels. “As a reward for showing me such a nice power, I’ll give you this bag of sweets!” He took out a small pouch from his coat and handed it to the girl. “Enjoy!”
↳ ♫ ↰ Eager hands collected the needles and stored them back in her pouch before once more reaching out to take the offered sweets. “Thank you very much, sir. These will not go to waste.” Meaning that Kotone would eat all of it by herself, probably all at once. She slipped the bag into her pocket, then asked, “Do you have any abilities as well?”
His ever-present smile grew when the needles dropped into his hand, and he laughed happily. “Amazing! That was perfect!” he exclaimed, examining the needles before pocketing them. “As a rewards for showing me something good, I’ll give you something in return! You like sweets, kid?”
↳ ♫ ↰ At the action, she let out a short noise of protest, stepping forward and reaching her hand out. “Those are mine, sir. My sister gave them to me.” She lost a few on occasion, but she’d rather avoid it if at all possible. “May I have them back, please?” Good thing she at least had some manners.
“Go?” Cecil tilted his head in though, before beaming brightly (well, brighter then before). “In that case, right in my hand! Careful not to put them point down; I don’t fancy getting blood all over my clothes today, haha!”
↳ ♫ ↰ She nodded, and within a second, the needles disappeared from her hand and reappeared horizontally half an inch above his. They fell with a clang, gathering in his palm. “Is that okay?” She wasn’t sure what sort of reaction to expect aside from the fact that he seemed happy about something.
“Hm…” He observed the stranger closely, before chuckling. “You’ve got an interesting power there, kid. I can’t tell what it is, but it’s a good one,” Cecil said, then nodded to himself. “Wanna share with the rest of the class? It’s show and tell time!”
↳ ♫ ↰ Kotone stared at the man before glancing around to make sure there were no other people watching. If he could already tell she had an ability, then it wouldn’t hurt to show him, right? With that in mind, she reached into her silk pouch, pulled out a few needles, and showed them to the man. “Where do you want them to go?”
