in all honesty, being this nice ( to a stranger & in general ), was unusual for the unseelie. perhaps it was because he was a child. otherwise she would have found a way ( forcing fingers into his mouth to widen his mouth, slapping him, etc. ) to worsen the pain. ‘ good. when i was younger, my brother would often do a similar to trick to help with chewing. ’ because isn’t it common for others to be able to cool skin & bone?? ‘ now, eat up. ’

↳ ❂ ↰  No, it wasn’t common and hearing someone talk about it like it was threw the child off a bit. Was it magic? He’d never met anyone with any kind of supernatural powers before. Either way, he brought the food back up to his lips, taking a bite and chewing as he thought. Could humans even do things like that? Surely if they could, they wouldn’t be so good about keeping it a secret: humans weren’t that intelligent and would sooner cave into greed and expose themselves because of it.
