*:・ﾟ✧ BELLS CHIMED as the two entered the bookstore, the young woman quickly searched for a place to sit. Maybe she should buy a bottle of water for this guy beforehand, as with a look at him she could tell he didn’t look so good. It was the least she could do, pulling them along to help her keep safe. Was he going to be okay? Hold on–
“We can sit there.” She pointed to two lounge chairs, divided by an end table to keep books on. The place gave a homey vibe, with the smell of coffee in the air. However, Momoko could hardly relax. “Let’s…sit.” She mumbled, grabbing any old book from the shelf as if she were a real patron. Still able to see outside of the window, she could see her stalker deciding on whether coming in was worth it or not.
Shooting them a meaningful glare, her attention turned to the other once more. “I’m Momoko, by the way…Sorry again for all of this. I work at a maid cafe and sometimes we get some crazy customers. They can get…obsessive.”
↳ ❂ ↰ Ah yes, it was so much easier to breathe once they reached the secluded shop, and it only took a few moments for his nerves to begin settling. Kaeto didn’t pay much attention to the female, just enough to follow her to the lounge chairs before sinking into one with a sigh. Goodbye, awful hell of a crowd. With any luck, it’d clear out before he had to leave.
“Kaeto,” he introduced, “and it’s alright. I’m just glad to be out of that crowd.” Once he reached a satisfactory level of calmness, he reached over and grabbed a book for himself before flipping through a few pages. Then he set it down. “Do you want something to drink? I can go up and grab something from the cafe.” He’d seen it when they walked in (he remembered once he regained his senses), and he noticed more and more bookstores started having them; after all, hot beverages and snacks went well with reading.
He had enough extra money with him to get her a coffee or tea, but if she wanted something to eat as well, she’d have to buy it for herself. The prices there were fairly decent compared to other places, at least.
