There was one thing he hated about being a teacher’s assistant,

      and that was taking part in the mundane acts they requested of him. In this case, it was carrying two large boxes to the other side of the campus, and another set to the library just a bit away from campus. He was on his second run, and the only good part about it was that it could potentially increase his STRENGTH. 

But it seemed this time he was a bit too WEAK, and CLUMSY for that matter, as his foot caught on the concrete and he fell forward with the boxes falling from his arms. A small groan escaped him as he slowly sat up and rubbed his chin where he seemed to have scraped it. He could also feel a STINGING sensation in his elbow too. But WORRY settled in his stomach the moment he noticed someone else nearby. His frame quickly jumped up and moved over to the other, ignoring his own injuries.

      “I’m so sorry! None of that hit you did it? I’m really sorry I hope I didn’t hurt you because I’m an idiot—”

↳ ❂ ↰  Even while filling out answers for his homework, Kaeto was still quite aware of his surroundings as he walked across campus. Not many students frequented the area at that time of day, and he didn’t pay too much attention to the other until he tripped and the boxes fell. If he’d been spacing out, Kaeto may have gotten injured as well, but he dodged out of the way in time–and with no move to prevent the guy from falling on his face.

“You didn’t hurt me.” Kaeto stepped back as the guy came closer, holding up his free hand as though to tell him to halt. “I don’t need a physical evaluation, but you might.” And he made no argument against the idiot part; after all, most people carrying boxes were more careful not to damage the cargo (and, notably, the teen did nothing to help with that either). “Fortunately, the infirmary isn’t too far away from here.”
