He didn’t like the fact that the knife wasn’t getting handed back to him and the words that came from the other’s mouth. They knew something… any- one would have bought that, who carries around a green plastic knife? It was something that got into the hands of someone that just wasn’t buying his spiel and he needed to figure out something quick.
“I’m sorry, I don’t know what else to really tell you, it’s rubber, and if I had a secret I wouldn’t tell it to someone I have no clue about.”
↳ ❂ ↰ Kaeto tsk’ed at that. There were far better ways he could be spending his time, sure, but the mystery of this knife was more interesting than anything he’d seen outside in a while; as such, he wanted to get down to the bottom of it. “You should watch your words, kiddo. Rubber’s different from plastic, and a slip-up like that would make anyone with half a brain suspicious. I’m guessing it’s some sort of state secret? Something that involves fighting or killing something that can’t be done in by normal means?”
