“That’s fine. Just don’t make me regret doing this.”
Accelerator seemed somewhat cold on the outside during his statement, but truthfully he didn’t want to waste money on food that she might not enjoy. He had plans for every last cent of money he could get his hands on.
“Where’s your parents?”
Along with that, Accel didn’t want to send the youth off into the wild on her own. For his own consciousness’s sake, he’d ask. He could probably just take her to them anyways.
When the waiter arrived, Accelerator ordered some drinks, and the woman seemed to stare a bit before running back to get the drinks. The way she looked at him seemed to encourage the fact that The Accelerator had some sort of malicious rep about him.
“Tch.”
↳ ♫ ↰ He didn’t have to worry about that; after all, her favourite food was anything edible, so she’d enjoy anything she ordered. Still, she’d stick to an appetizer just so she didn’t ruin her appetite for actual dinner in a couple hours. And they costed less, so she wouldn’t feel as bad about a stranger buying her food–despite her words, she didn’t carry around money at all. She just didn’t want to seem homeless.
“I will eat anything, so you don’t have to concern yourself.” The next question came as a bit of a surprise. Was he worried about whether or not she could make it home on her own? Or her safety? No, even if she did get lost, the tracking device in her bracelet was only one of several ways to remedy that situation. “I don’t know where my parents are, but I have older siblings that help take care of me. I’ll be meeting back up with them in a few hours.”
If she noticed the waitress’ staring, she didn’t comment on it; after all, he wouldn’t be the only one with a bad reputation.
