⋠ ☣ ⋡ “Hello there!” She chimed as she turned to the stranger. “You want me to tell you about all the flowers here? You’re not going to buy all of them, are you? I’d miss some of them…” She was hoping that he wouldn’t buy them all. She couldn’t calculate that much money. “Most of them here are spring flowers. There’s still some left over from the winter season, but they’re towards the back of the store. I still love them though.” She gestured to the display closest to them. “There’s a new batch of daisies if you want those. Pretty, aren’t they?”

Maybe he’d just check out a book from the library rather than rely on other people for information. “Yes, they’re very pretty, and no, I’m won’t buy everything. I don’t have that much anyway.” A quick glance at the prices and some mental math told him he wouldn’t eat for a month if he did, so he’d pass on the suggestion. “Can I buy flowers individually? Like, as in just one rather than a whole bouquet? I know someone who’d look nice with a flower tucked behind her ear.” Someone who might murder him if she found out he pestered a salesperson without buying something from them.
